This notice covers the finkovadc.fi website: the contact form, contacts made by email or phone through the site, analytics and the technical operation of the site.
Enquiries and the contact form
Data: name, company, work email, project country, your message and anything else you choose to include.
Purpose and legal basis: responding to your enquiry and handling the business discussions that follow. The legal basis is Finkova's legitimate interest in responding to and handling business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Enquiries are not added to marketing lists.
Retention: the message is delivered to Finkova by email. It is kept as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting customer relationship, and then deleted in line with Finkova's retention practice.
Protection against misuse: the form uses a strictly necessary session cookie (finkova_form) that expires when you close the browser. To limit repeated submissions, the server keeps a short-lived record of a one-way hash derived from the connection address together with timestamps. The record is kept for about a day and contains no message content.
Analytics with your consent
With your consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). They process page views, traffic sources, interactions, device and browser data and pseudonymous identifiers. Clarity also produces heatmaps and session recordings. The contact form is masked from recordings. Advertising features are disabled.
Legal basis: your consent, as required for analytics cookies by the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services. Nothing is loaded before you accept, and you can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Storage: Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) last up to 180 days. Clarity cookies (_clck, _clsk) follow Microsoft's cookie documentation. Your choice is stored in the browser for 180 days.
Technical operation
The web hosting provider processes technical data such as the connection address, time, requested page and browser type to run and secure the service. The legal basis is Finkova's legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Recipients and transfers
Personal data is processed by Finkova and by service providers acting on its behalf: the email service provider, the web hosting provider and, with your consent, Google and Microsoft. Finkova does not sell personal data.
Google and Microsoft may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. They rely on transfer mechanisms such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. See the Google privacy policy and the Microsoft privacy statement.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data and to have it rectified or erased, to restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to finkova@finkova.fi.
You can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi). No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
